Picnic areas & view site
There are two picnic areas in the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve – the main Kloof Falls site and the Nkutu site in Valley Drive. Both picnic areas offer an area to relax with the family while enjoying the babble of the nearby streams. A gate entrance fee is payable at both picnic areas.
The Nkutu site has recently undergone a revamp and new benches & monkey-proof bins, which were sponsored by Kloof Conservancy, have been installed. The dead trees have been removed and replaced. The trees which have been planted were Pigeonwood (trema orientalis), Umdoni (syzgium cordatum) and Red Beech (protorhus longifolia). The braai facilities will be upgraded soon.

The view site higher up Bridle Road offers breathtaking views of the reserve and is really worth the visit.

It has a kitchen facilities with a stove & fridge. Cutlery and crockery can be hired at a nominal fee. There are also outside braai facilities.
