Weddings are only rented on a full day basis

Set-up and take-down time

If you require time to set-up or take-down before and /or after your event, then this will be charged at the rate indicated for the time-slots.

Catering

Clients must arrange their own catering


Payment Terms

If booking is made more than 3 months before due date, then the following will apply:

  • 50% non-refundable deposit to secure booking
  • 50% balance due 2 months prior to event – non refundable.

If booking is made within 3 months of due date, then the following will apply:

  • 100% of amount due – non-refundable

General Information

Please note that this venue is run by volunteers and all income is transferred to the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. We are able to keep the price of hiring the venue at an affordable rate but we do require your help! We hand-over the venue to you in a clean and usable condition and would ask that you clean the venue on the completion of your function and hand it back to us in the same condition you received it so that it can be used immediately by others. We are able to arrange cleaning for you at an extra fee of R400 (this does not include extra set-up/take-down time).

To assist us please adhere to the following:

  • Please bring your own ladder to erect any decorations
  • Please do not stand on the chairs to reach the beams
  • Please do not use Confetti of any sort – they are a nightmare to clean-up
  • Please remove all the garbage and take it to the first light pole across the the bridge on Kloof Falls Road – that is the collection point at the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife camp
  • Please do not stack the chairs on top of each other
  • Please switch off the hot water boiler at the end of your function
  • Please clean-up any liquids spilt on the floor
  • Please empty the bins in the toilets and leave the toilets clean.
  • Please make sure the kitchen is left clean – please bring your own cleaning materials
  • All spit-braais must be done in the courtyard on the concrete slab
  • Please do not use the braai as a dumping spot for cigarette stumps
  • Please do not use the flower pots as rubbish bins
  • Please close the gate while your function is in progress
