 Trail Map & Information

The Kranztkloof Reserve Map is now available as an online map for Android, iPhone & PC. The new trail map replaces previous printed copies, which are now outdated due to changes on the trails. We recommend that you access the latest map for each visit, as we will be updating the map on an ongoing basis to indicate which trails are open and to add additional information on trails.

How to use the map:

Smartphone

Use a smartphone camera to scan the QR code, or tap on the QR code

Option 1:

  1. Zoom in on the trail section and click on the coloured trail line.
  2. Tap on the trail name which pops up at the bottom of the screen

Option 2:

  1. Tap on “Krantzkloof Nature Reserve” title at bottom of screen
  2. Find the trail/feature on which you want more info and tap on it
PC

Click on the QR Code picture, which will open the map in a new tab

Option 1:

  1. Click on the trail section or marker on the map and info window will open on left

Option 2:

  1. Find the trail/feature on which you want in the left menu and click on it

Despite being based on Google Maps, you cannot set a navigation route to a specific point on the map, and will need to follow the map as you walk.
